Employee Commitment in Bappeda and Statistics of Bone Regency
Abstract
Commitment is a psychological condition that characterizes the relationship between employees and the organization and has implications for individual decisions to remain or leave the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance in Bappeda and Statistics of Bone Regency. This study uses an explanatory research type with a quantitative approach (positivism). This study uses two types of data, namely secondary and primary data. The results show that organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment can be seen from the characteristics of the job, the characteristics of the structure and work experience. Organizational commitment can be seen from the characteristics of the job, the characteristics of the structure and work experience. The theoretical increase in organizational commitment can be done by: a) having trust in and accepting the goals and values of the organization; b) willing to strive towards the achievement of organizational goals; and c) have a strong desire to remain as a member of the organization.
