Social Needs of Employees at the Public Works Service Takalar Regency
Abstract
Social needs are the dominant needs that occur as a form of interaction between leaders, subordinates and other parties who carry out various relationships that are formed either horizontally, vertically, externally or internally which are different from each employee. The purpose of this study was to determine the social needs of the work motivation of employees in the public works department of Takalar Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all employees at the Public Works Office of Takalar Regency, totaling 130 people. So the sample members to be examined in this study were 30 employees. The data collection technique used in this research is to use a questionnaire, observation and documentation. The results showed that the fulfillment of social needs consisting of the creation of work harmony, cooperation, communication and work solidarity between employees supports increasing employee motivation at the Takalar Regency Public Works Office.
