Abstract

Motivation is a potential strength that is owned by a person to start and finish a job with the results / achievements to be achieved. The purpose of this study was to determine the work motivation of employees of the youth service, sports, culture and tourism in Majene Regency. This research uses survey research type. The design of this study used a descriptive method. Thus, solving research problems will be carried out first by describing the state of the subject/object of this research, namely the performance of employees based on facts or data obtained as they are. The data collection technique used in this research is to use a questionnaire, observation and documentation. The results showed that the work motivation of the employees of the Department of Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism, Majane Regency, West Sulawesi Province can be said to be "very good" which indicates that the level of employee motivation in the future will be maintained as a form of responsibility in carrying out social tasks. and development in Majene Regency.
